This project centred around addressing a pressing issue facing university students. My team's proposal, Funda, was designed to connect students with funding opportunities and give patrons a seamless way to contribute.

The platform enables students to apply for funding for tuition, accommodation, and other essential needs, while ensuring that donations are matched equitably with student needs. We collaborated closely with the Wits Financial Aid & Scholarships Office (FASO) to conduct in-depth research and analysis to ensure a comprehensive solution tailored to the university's ecosystem.
Using Sketch for design and Visual Studio/Access for backend development, my team carefully followed the system development life cycle from end to end.
We were selected to present our solution in the 3rd year project fair and went on to win the BSG Award for the best Solution Design Project in Information Systems II (shown below).
